1.       Are we accompanied by a guide?

We offer 2 types of cycling tours.

1. Self guided tours. During this tour you will not be accompanied by a guide. You will be given a road book (description of the trip in text form), set of maps and gps navigation. You will be also given a cell phone with possibility of non stop connection to our contact person.
2. Guided tours. During this kind of cycling tour you will be accompanied by a guide. There is an extra charge 390 Euro per person (there can be discount for a group). We have fixed dates for guided tours. Number of persons in one group is limited.

2. Do we have to carry our own luggage during cycling tour?

No, your luggage is transported via prearranged transportation. You leave your baggage at the reception of the hotel/guest house. It will be delivered to the next hotel/guesthouse by the afternoon the same day.

3. What will the weather be like?

Please, click here for weather forecast. The best time for you to come is from April to October.

We recommend you to bring some rain gear, however, equally we recommend you bring suntan lotion and sun hat.

4. Do I have to be super-fit?

Please, do not worry. We have designed a range of tours to suit every kind of cyclist.

If you choose more difficult cycling tour from our offer than you think you would manage, we can transport you in our support car over the most demanding parts of the tour for extra charge. Please, contact us with such a requirement in advance.

5. What kind of food and accommodation should I expect?

You stay in a combination of hotels (at least 3*) and cosy guesthouses. Usually our cycling tours are based on bed&breakfast accommodation. This includes breakfast. As supplement, dinner is available. You may expect Central European Cuisine.

6. What should I bring?

We recommend you to bring a comfortable outfit for cycling and pair of padded cycling shorts or trousers. You can bring your own helmet. If you do not have one, we rent it to you for an extra charge (10 Euro per one cycling tour). It is much more easier for you to travel with as few bags as possible. We also recommend you to bring some rain gear, however, equally we recommend you bring suntan lotion and sun hat.

7. How do I book my cycling holiday with you?

8. What airlines fly to Slovakia?

You can fly with Ryan air directly to Bratislava (capital of Slovakia). Those two airlines fly only within Europe.

You can also fly to Vienna – Schwechat airport. Schwechat airport is only 40 minutes away from Bratislava. If you need a transport from Vienna to Slovakia, please, contact us in advance.

If you need to use transcontinental flight, we recommend you to contact us. We will help you to arrange your flight.

9. What is included in the price of cycling tour?

11. If I am arriving early or staying for an extra day, what hotel do you recommend me?

12. How do I find my way around?

During our welcome meeting you will be given a road book, a set of maps and gps navigation. You will be also given a cell phone with possibility of non stop connection to our contact person, so you can call anytime you need some help.

13. Are single rooms available on all cycling tours?

Yes, however there is a small supplement.

14.  Can we hire bike or do we have to bring our own?

You can freely use your own bike on our tours. Should you wish to hire our bike, we can offer you a quality trekking bike. It comes equipped with side bags (panniers), basic repair kit, bottle holder, lock, lights and basic first aid kit.

We charge 19 Euro per day per one bike (all mentioned equipment included). You can also hire cycling helmet (10 Euro per cycling tour)

15. What is bike rental insurance?

We do not provide bike rental insurance. If you hire our bike, you are responsible for it. We strongly recommend you to lock your bike EVERY time you leave it.

16. What about medical insurance?

Medical insurance should be arranged in your country BEFORE departure.

17. Can we bring the kids?

We do not encourage children under 14 years old. However, if you want to come as a family we can arrange it for you. Please, contact us in advance in such a case.
